Improvement of Iron Phosphate (Aluminum) Separation-EDTA Volumetric Method for Determination of Iron Oxide Content in Phosphate Rock and Phosphate Concentrate

Iron oxide is an important impurity in phosphate rock. Optimizing the determination method of iron oxide can better analyze and judge the mining value of phosphate rock. The iron phosphate(aluminum) separation-EDTA volumetric method for determination of iron oxide content in phosphate rock and phosphate concentrate is improved, and the operability, applicability and precision of the improved method are verified by parallel tests and comparison tests between different laboratories. According to the difference in the determination results of iron oxide before and after the improvement, it is shown that there is no significant difference in the average values of the two methods. The improved method has the advantages of convenience, speed, cost saving, and high efficiency.
