Industrial Test of Wet-Process Phosphoric Acid Desulfurization and Concentration

In order to reduce the content of SO_4~(2-) and increase the content of P_2O_5 in wet-process phosphoric acid,an industrial test is carried out of adding an appropriate amount of phosphate rock slurry and concentrated sulfuric acid to wet-process phosphoric acid. The test results show that by adding an appropriate amount of phosphate rock slurry and concentrated sulfuric acid to wet-process phosphoric acid,w( SO_4~(2-)) can be reduced from 3. 41% to 1. 08% through one step reaction,and w( P_2O_5) can be increased from 20. 66% to 24. 13%; for a production unit with a P_2O_5 output of90 kt/a,the annual economic benefit can be increased by 13. 351 million yuan.
