Voice Recognition System for Vocal Cord Vibration Based on Piezoelectric Ceramics

A speech recognition system based on piezoelectric ceramic sensor is proposed to solve the problem that speech acquisition and recognition are susceptible to noise interference.We can use the signal characteristics of vocal cord vibration when different words are pronounced for classification and recognition.First,the FPGA is used to control the ADC to collect data and transmit it to the computer through the UART.Then the data is croped to obtain the pronunciation data and perform short-time Fourier transform to obtain the time and frequency domain information of the data.Then principal component analysis is performed on the data to reduce the dimensionality of the data and obtain its feature vectors.Linear discriminant analysis is used to classify the data.Finally,the upper computer based on MATLAB is used to display the recognition results in real time.The experiment results show that the recognition rate of the system is more than 90% under the strong noise interference.
