Das Kapital(《資本論》) is a magnificent masterpiece that Karl Marx spent his entire life to work on. Friedrich Engels'(恩格斯) theoretical contributions to Das Kapital made his name and Marx's name inseparable. Materialistic dialectics is the fundamental method to analyze the relationship between capital and wage labor in Das Kapital. Engels not only accomplished the application of materialist dialectics in the field of economics together with Marx in the process of creating materialist dialectics by Marx, but also conducted a series of systematic and perfect studies to expound materialist dialectics after Marx's death. Das Kapital is of enduring scholarly value. The three rounds of correspondence between Engels and Marx, along with Engels' writings, annotations and supplements to Das Kapital when he revised the new edition of its first volume, and edited and published its second and third volumes, are regarded as the main parts of Engels' theoretical contributions to Das Kapital. Das Kapital can be seen as a sharp sword that stabs the heart of the bourgeoisie. Engels not only criticized the bourgeoisie for their attitude towards Das Kapital by writing book reviews and popular brochures to promote the working class to understand Das Kapital, but also directly and publicly criticized the incorrect remarks from the bourgeoisie, so as to defense Das Kapital, and facilitate the development of Marx's theories.
